Backpack and School Supplies

Each year our back to school program donates backpacks and school supplies to more than 1,400 children in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. These supplies are essential and will be delivered to those in need.  This very successful program is in partnership with Santa Maria Community Services.

Rent Assistance

Our Rent Assistance Program is for people who cannot pay their rent, due to a personal emergency or conflict beyond their control. We partner with Freestore/Foodbank, CAIN in Northside, Jewish Family Service, and Santa Maria Community Services – all located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Food Donations

The Apartment Association Outreach, Inc. (AAO) is partners with twenty pantries in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Apartment Association. AAO’s partners are Madisonville Education and Assistance Center, Zion UCC Pantry/ Norwood, Jewish Family Service, Welcome House of Northern Kentucky, Brighton Center, Boone County Head Start, Gateway Community & Technical College, CAIN, Anderson Ferry, Corpus Christi, For His Glory Pantry, SEM Pantry, The Caring Place, Fairfield Food Pantry, SON Ministries, Tri-County Soul Ministries, Reach Out Lakota Lake, Open Door Food Pantry, LIFE, and Salvation Army in Middletown.

AAO sends funds to our partners in the spring and directly  distributes non-perishable food items to each pantry in the fall.

Scholarship Program

Outreach is pleased to announce our partnership with Gateway Community College in which we contribute to their Student Emergency Fund. This program helps students overcome financial barriers that may put them at risk of dropping out.

Scholarships are also awarded to candidates for the NALP (National Apartment Leasing Professional), CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) and CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician) who apply. Follow the GCNKAA link to view the designation series of your choice. www.gcnkaa.org/education

Senior Events

Outreach provides, lunch, drinks, desserts, music and a fun game of Bingo to seniors living in affordable, low income rental housing.

  Emergency Fund

Immediate emergency assistance is provided to individuals or families in dire need, due to a catastrophic event, upon approval of the board.
